A word of thanks is addressed to the artist’s husband Mr. Walter Scholz who died on 23rd of April 2012 at the age of 103 and to her nephew Mr. Eckhard Wanckel, Hamburg. Without the support and involvement of both men, it would not have been possible to honour the live of Dr. Katharina Scholz Wanckel and to deliver her artworks to posterity.
